L. DiPaul Marrero II, or Paul to his friends, was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to a Midwestern elementary school teacher and an Italian immigrant baccarat dealer. Following graduation from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a stint teaching high school English in rural China sandwiched between his junior and senior years, Paul worked in the gold mining industry as a diamond driller in above and underground mines in Northern Nevada and Alaska. Following a serious work injury, Paul sought to use his talents to help injured people, and attended law school at Boyd School of Law at UNLV, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since graduating, Paul has exclusively represented plaintiffs in personal injury and insurance bad faith cases in Nevada.
